Have you ever wondered what to do with duct tape?
well, Emma and Jamie, are showing us that there is much more to do with duct tape (it comes in all colors and prints too!) than just tape boxes together!
wallets, purses, hair bows, hats, makeup bags, …
their creations are endless and so creative !
I love, love , love ! the leopard hair clip and purse they made me!
I also love to see young people, like moi ,doing cool, outta the box, creative stuff - rather than texting and playing video games all day long!
I think they are onto something pretty KRAFTY !

I like going to the movies mostly to look at the clothing ! DUH …I guess that is pretty obvious from someone like MOI !
This year there were so many movies with GREAT costume design !!!
My favorite was watching Chloe Moretz play Isabel in HUGO !
All of her clothes we just so, ooo la la FRENCH !!!
Costume desinger, Sandy Powell, and I have a similar story:
“I guess I was always interested in clothes. When I was really little my mum used to make my clothes – mine and my sisters clothes. I was really used to helping her choose fabric and choose the patterns, things like that. So, from a very early age I was really interested in it. And from a very early age I kind of made my own outfits. Apparently – and I don’t remember this – when I was young, I cut up my mother’s skirt and made a bikini. After that, the first things I really started to make were dolls clothes.”
Hopefully, soon, I will be creating a fabulous oh so french dress for Chloe ! I wanted to make her one for the Oscars, but she is in Milan !

LA Family Housing is one of those places that brings kids together, doing something “sew” fun !
Last Sunday, I visited with some girls and showed them how to have fun with scraps of fabric …
I even taught them how to sew some fun stuff onto tshirts to make them new and fabulous !!!
Most of all, I think I inspired them to follow their dreams and to make some fabulous tops!!!

Getting my own reality show didn’t come without FUN! I have met a lot of great people, created and sewed a lot of dresses, walked long Red Carpets and tried to do my share of charity work!!!
I have been on the Front page of newspapers like the Daily news, been featured in the NY Times and LA Times
I have been a “Kids Whiz” in PEOPLE MAGAZINE. I have made the pages of VOGUE France, ELLE Japan, Times Magazine, Grazia UK, France, Italie…I have been interviewed for magazines and TV around the world.
I have seen a lot of fashion shows, met a lot of great famous designers (I still need to meet my idol KARL LAGRFELD and a few others) All this with the help fo my Family!!! All this with a lot of FUN and LOVE!!!

I DO nOT …
Mr. Melcher, my fav English teacher, is famous for giving his students a “FIX IT” page every day:
so the “FIX IT” from the above two sentences would be:
“I always get asked if I design men’s clothes…”
“I DO NOT!”
I did ONCE – for Nate Berkus when I appeared on his show – I created him a very cool belt and matching pocket square.
But, for Mr. Melcher ! !!! I created him a tie because he is also FAMOUS for wearing a different CRAZY tie every day!
While he was out, recovering for a few weeks, I missed him, his “FIX ITs”, and his TIES !
As a welcome back to school gift, I made Mr. Melcher a one-of-a-kind Cecilia Cassini tie !!!
