It was an amazing experience hanging out with Jenna Bush! The former President’s daughter and granddaughter! So coool.

Wow I don’t know where to start…. Well first off this is not an order request just a email to give congrats to Cecilia Cassini for her success with her business! I am a college student at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. I am majoring in Graphic Design and Photography and is planning to start a business on my own well really right now. I’ve been doing designs and photos since I was 14 and it has always been my hobby. When people see my work they ask “When are you going to start your own business?” or “Do you have a business card or website?” I felt that I was too young to start my own business or that because I didn’t have a degree yet it wouldn’t be successful. But when I stumble across the article about Cecilia Cassini my jaw just dropped and for some reason I pick up motivation to still start my business. It’s not all established yet but I making preparation and design templates now. I just really wanted to say that her success motivated me to start business regardless of my age or if I don’t have a degree yet. Congrats again and I hope you business stays strong for a long time.

I saw your interview this morning ( Sunday 25th April) and I was inspired.
I am the odd one out in my family, i have always enjoyed shopping and fashion while the rest of my family doesnt. I love to make things and i have tried little fashion projects like making my younger sister clothes for her barbie dolls with old clothes as the fabric. I would try out something like what you do as it is cool, fun and i love fashion but i have to do all my projects by hand as i dont have a sewing machine.
Do you have any advice? I wasnt born with any talents to do with making clothes but i love doing it and im always wanting to become better at it.

It is Shiny!
While we were dropping a poster for the Trunk Show at Fred Segal yesterday, it was super -uper cool to see this super-duper cute little girl trying on some of my dresses!
This little girl, named Mila, tried on a few and ended up asking her Dad to buy her the yellow one. She said, “this is my favorite one because it is soooooo shiny.”
It was cute to see her leaving with the eco bag we made especially for those who buy Cecilia Cassini dresses!

KANGAROOS AND KOALAS FOR FASHION???
TODAY I HAD A NEW EXPERIENCE!
LIVE ! LIVE TV !!!
I WAS INTERVIEWED BY AN AUSTRALIAN TV NETWORK, CALLED 7.
LIVE!!!
IT WAS 4:30 PM IN LOS ANGELES AND IT WAS 9:30 AM ON SUNDAY MORNING IN AUSTRALIA!
(I LEARNED THAT IT WAS A HOLIDAY IN AUSTRALIA TO REMEMBER THE AUSTRALIAN SOLDIERS WHO DIED AT GALLIPOLI. THE BRITISH INVADED THEM 95 YEARS AGO.)
ANYWAYS, IT WAS SUPER-UPER COOL.
I SAT IN THE STUDIO IN LOS ANGELES AND GOT HOOKED UP TO A MIC AND EARPIECE, WHILE THE TWO REPORTERS SPOKE TO ME LIVE FROM SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.
IT WAS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TV INTERVIEWS I HAVE DONE BECAUSE THIS WAS LIVE! THEY ASKED ME QUESTIONS AND I HAD TO ANSWER RIGHT AWAY! THERE WERE NO “TAKE OVERS!”
ONE TIME, WHEN THE REPORTER WAS ASKING ME SOMETHING I COULD NOT HEAR HIM. I COULD NOT HEAR THE QUESTION!
AS SOON AS WE POST THE VIDEO ON LINE, YOU WILL SEE HOW I REACTED!!!

Dresses for "The Backup Plan"
Wearing a Cecilia Cassini original to “The Backup Plan” premiere?
Yep… My friends Rowan and Carmen came over last night to choose the perfect dress to wear to the “cast and crew” premiere and party. Rowan is in the movie! How cool!
But even cooler is that they wanted to wear one of my designs!
I had a lot of fun helping them choose a dress!
I even made them matching headbands!
Guess what dresses they chose!!!
